Spirit of Bohemia in Hawth

Ensemble Reza once again invited us back into their musical world at their latest Hawth performance in Crawley.

Between glances, smiles, and such unspoken communication, the audience were really in for such a fantastic evening.

Taking us on a slavic tour through the programme, their energy could not be contained in the first piece, The Bartered Bride Overture.’ Which saw quick lively rhythms and notes played so elegantly by the group.

The talent of the group knows no bounds as we entered the second half of the evening. Anna had cleverly arranged Serenade for Strings by Josef Suk to fit the six members of the Ensemble. Even as she switched between the viola and the violin between movements, it was done with such confidence and elegance and showcased her incredible musical abilities.

Each musician demonstrates such a love for playing their instruments which is so contagious. The audience are captivated by the magic they create from the first note of the night to the very last.

I can’t wait for their next musical treat on Friday 12th June at the Charis Centre, Crawley from 7pm celebrating music for the Summer! ‘Pay What you Can’ tickets available online now.
