Bach, Bass & Back Again!

What a treat to be back after our summer break! It was lovely to welcome so many familiar (& some new) faces to the Methodist Church in Haywards Heath today to kick off our packed Autumn programme - see our snazzy new brochure for details.

Rather unusually, we were treated to viola and double bass duets by Matt and Pavlos. As Pavlos explained at the beginning of the concert, both instruments are so important to overall ensemble but are often overlooked… but ‘today was their chance to emerge from the shadows!’ We were treated to a very varied programme including Bach, Rossini and the lesser-known Carl Ditters von Dittersdorf - so good they named him twice!

We hope to see lots of you at our upcoming fundraising concert on 2nd October and/or our next lunchtime concert of Greek music on 13th October.
