Summer Sounds from The Barefaced Viola Quartet

We were so pleased to welcome our wonderful audience members to today’s extremely warm lunchtime concert. Unsurprisingly, most people opted for iced water rather than tea and coffee given the extreme temperatures, but it was such a pleasure to sit still and be bathed in the wonderful viola playing of Anna, Matt, Ros and Ellie. Matt seemed to relish in his guest appearance, particularly as lead viola in York Bowen’s Fantasia for 4 Violas.

We’re very much looking forward to our final lunchtime concert in Broadfield on Wednesday 15th July, before the Rezas take a very well-earned break over the Summer. We hope to see you there!
