Adam Barker

Adam Barker Adam Barker grew up in West Sussex and studied at the Royal College of Music with Rodney Friend. His formative chamber music experiences at the Cambridge Quartet Symposium led to a life-long love of playing in small groups.

Adam started out as a professor at Junior Guildhall, along the way working on chamber music with wonderful musicians like Yehudi Menuhin.

Alongside a busy schedule with Ensemble Reza and Trio Salona, Adam teaches at Christ’s Hospital School and conducts the West Sussex Youth Orchestra.

Adam loves his decrepit Italian violin ‘Giuseppe’, decrepit Italian cars and going for family walks with his decrepit whippet, Archie.
