Crawley Music Collective

  • Crawley, England, RH10 1FF United Kingdom (map)

Unleash your inner musician!

  • Do you play a musical instrument?

  • Do you enjoy making music with other people, or keen to have a go?

  • Have you always wanted to make music with other people but don’t play an instrument?

Then the Crawley Music Collective is for you!

We welcome musicians of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and instruments!

Led by professional Ensemble Reza musicians Paul Griffiths (voice, electric guitar), Anna Cooper (violin, accordion, banjo, keys), Pavlos Carvalho (cello, bass, bouzouki) and Toril Azzalini Machler (percussion), these sessions offer a fantastic opportunity to enjoy relaxed music-making, all leading up to two informal performances including at Diverse Crawley's World Day for Cultural Diversity event on May 23rd. All you need to bring is yourself and your instrument (we have percussion instruments to share). If you require any further information, please email: info@ensemblereza.com

Membership: Free with optional donation to help support venue hire. Please note that children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult.

This is our third year running the group. Here’s what our members said in 2025:

‘Loved hearing the influences of different musical cultures being incorporated into a group ensemble piece.  Thank you for the professionals that led us.  The many individuals become a group very quickly! Loved it!’

‘I’ve been blown away with the enthusiasm and talent in this group.  Great afternoon!’

‘Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the experience we all shared as a family in the Crawley Music Collective, it's a memory for life!’

‘A great experience will be coming again. Absolutely loved the atmosphere here!’

‘CMC has given me space to fulfil my creative needs in a world .. I feel like I am investing in my wellbeing and that is priceless!’

‘…This is exactly what I need: a low-pressure environment where I can jam & meet other musicians … The cost is super affordable & I feel connected to my musician self again.’

‘Going to the collective made me feel like I belonged to a group ... & they won't judge me. It's also great that I can go with my dad & we are part of a band together’
