Taster workshop
This one off workshop is designed for existing orchestral players and those who want to come and have a try!
Alongside our orchestral rehearsal we will also be running workshops for anyone to come and play an instrument for the first time, and will have a selection of string, wind and brass instruments available for both children and adults to try!
To join our orchestra we welcome musicians of all ages from 5 to 85+ yrs!* and abilities,
and all you need is an instrument**
ability to read music***
and enthusiasm to give it a go!!!
Based in Lindfield at Oathall Community College, Ensemble Reza’s Community Orchestra is an exciting, nurturing environment for aspiring musicians of all ages and abilities to experience playing in an orchestra and take part in community music making events. Coached and sitting amongst our team of 6 professional musicians, you’ll learn new skills and meet like-minded people who all share one passion - playing great music together.

*Please note, children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult who can bring a book or join our percussion section!
** If you want to join our percussion section we can provide instruments.
*** Our music is arranged for all abilities from beginner to advanced and a link to our music library will be sent in advance of the workshop.
Bursary places to help cover the cost of membership are available upon request.
